    • Synopsis
    • In her documentary film ANJAR: FLOWERS, GOATS & HEROES, Noura Kevorkian (VEILS UNCOVERED), takes the audience on a journey back to her childhood village of Anjar, Lebanon in 1979, at the height of the Lebanese Civil War. Amidst the ever present sound of distant rocket fire, young Noura would uncover the real history of her village and the legendary group of Armenians who founded the village decades earlier, fleeing from the 20th Century’s first genocide.
