Amsterdam Captain: a horror roadmovie taking the viewer from Amsterdam to Budapest along the rivers Rhine and Danube by bicycle, train and boat, ending in a love triangle, that explodes.

- Synopsis
- After a violent breakup with her boyfriend, ANNA gets a new job as captain of a Salon boat in Amsterdam.
  
  EDWARD, her ex boyfriend, abuses ANNA's new job situation to book a solo night trip on the Salon boat in the hope of restarting their relationship.
  Under the cover of a long bridge, EDWARD tries to force himself upon her. In the heat of the fight, ANNA accidentally strangles him.
  
  The transition from Act One to Act Two marks a change from realism to increasing surrealism.
  
  ANNA needs to escape and sails the boat up the river, Rhine and down the Danube to Budapest. The cook and host of the Salon boat, CHEF DAN, accompanies her.
  
  All the while, ANNA is hiding the corpse of EDWARD in the freezer, and keeping him virtually online alive by typing text messages from EDWARD's phone to his mother about his new adventures.
  
  ANNA and CHEF DAN plan to frame BUDA GIRL, a microbiology PhD student from Budapest, for the murder and with that intention start an online dating relationship between BUDA GIRL and EDWARD, the corpse.
  
  BUDA GIRL develops so much passion in the virtual relationship, that she can not wait any longer and travels to Cologne, Germany, to meet EDWARD in person.
  
  CHEF DAN pretends to be EDWARD.
  
  After discovering that the real EDWARD doesn't look like the online one, she adjusts her love to the new reality.
  The three of them continue their travels on the river, and a triangle of love develops.
  
  Close to Budapest on an island in the middle of the river, ANNA and CHEF DAN take the corpse out of the freezer and row the frozen block to the middle of the current and let it float away, decorated with flowers and candles.
  
  They smear some blood of EDWARD on BUDA GIRL's backpack to create false evidence.
  
  In the end BUDA GIRL discovers and unravels the plot.
  She sends ANNA away on a plane to Bangkok, and herself, she flies with CHEF DAN to Rio de Janeiro.
