- Synopsis
- Although the modernist painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso only lived for 30 years, his life was truly intense. He lived in his parents’ house in the north of Portugal, also travelled a lot and rented some art studios in Paris. He worked and met a vast group of artists that created and defined the artistic panorama under the 20th century. Amadeo is a man of action, glaw and vanguard during a period from our History marked by revolutions, cleavages, wars and the old dogmas fighting new paradigms. In this biopic film we can meet a man that simbolizes these newest paradigms, and whose we continue extraordinarly inspired by.
