    • Synopsis
    • Carlos Ugarte is a 50 years old psychiatrist Dr. who spends his days as if he were a responsibilities free teenager.
He acts and speaks in a deeply cynic al way. A mask he carries on to protect himself from surrounding mediocrity and also from his own crisis. He works in a geriatric hospital during the mornings; in the afternoons he evaluates people who candidate for a job in the Public Administration.
When his son’s mother decides to travel to Miami looking for a better life and leaves the 10 years old kid with him, his life turns entirely upside down.
In turn, Paco, an Ugarte’s patient whom he hates, attempts to commit suicide. Ugarte is forced to take responsibility over him too.
Overnight, he gets obligated to share his home with two strangers: his patient and his son.
His distended lonely days - which he spends among beer, Robert Mitchum’s old movies, fast food and casual sex with a nurse who works at the hospital-, will turn into a hell in the beginning and a learning afterwards.
This new environment drives him to confront the choice of either modifying or not his relationship with his affects and surroundings.
