- Synopsis
- Based on true accounts Alone We Fight takes place on the outskirts of Belgium, winter of 44. A squad from the 2nd Ranger division struggles to survive against heavy Axis forces during the last days of the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest. Allied forces are decimated and ill supplied, due to German 88 artillery shells inflicting heavy casualties. The Rangers are tasked with protecting the remaining field hospital sitting dangerously close to the front line. This small but resilient group of hero's must throw themselves into danger, surrounded by tank traps, fortified bunkers, German MG nests, snipers, mortars and long range artillery to buy enough time to save the doctors, nurses and wounded who are trying to survive one of the bloodiest battles of WWII. Alone We Fight tells the story of the determination needed to risk the ultimate sacrifice.
