    • Synopsis
    • He is struck by a latent neurological problem, which causes a bout of seizures and disrupts his situation in the household. As he struggles to find a place of quiet and comfort in the house amid the bustling residents, his seizures overcome him and he is rendered unconscious, trapped internally in the throes of his symptoms. The residents of the house are posed an ultimatum; should they risk Alo’s health or call an ambulance, potentially resulting in his deportation? The resulting decision is out of Alo’s hands, his fate sealed by his neurological condition and he is catapulted into the procedures and processing of the UK health and immigration system.

Based on true events and set amid the backdrop of the UK’s hostile environment, ALO is a farcical tragedy that experientially delivers the compressed conditions of precarious immigrant workers, as well as brings to life the internal symptoms of seizure through experimental animation and sound design
