    • Synopsis
    • Everything changes for a family of three when Weiming (Ko), a husband and father, is diagnosed with terminal cancer. The family becomes shrouded in shadows. The mother Muling (Pang), who is the family’s sole provider, is not understood by her husband and son Yiming (Sit). When Weiming and Yiming become closer she, in turn, becomes even more isolated. Although she has tried to keep her husband unaware of his condition, he comes to realise he is at death’s door. When Yiming is accepted by a US university he realises he’s unable to find a good way to care for his mother. Meanwhile, Weiming thinks he’s become a burden to his family.
