    • Year 2002.
While the Colombian government breaks the peace dialogues with the subversive guerrilla, Maria, a 13-year-old guerrilla soldier, has to fulfill a mission along with 3 other soldier-kids: take the commander’s new-born baby to a safe town.
But nobody knows the secret she conceals: she’s pregnant and giving birth is forbidden in the guerrilla. During the mission her secret is discovered so Maria runs away to avoid being forced to abort.
Through Maria’s eyes we’ll picture the desolate state of Colombia’s armed conflict: towns devastated by massacres, peasants trapped in the cross-fire, parents who’ve lost their families and kids who try to carry a normal childhood.
Thanks to the maternal instinct that has born inside her, Maria will find strength to look for a new life.
