- Synopsis
- A German police investigator assigned to his country's embassy in Algiers, leads an illicit love story with a young Algerian Prosecutor. While they try to hide the relationship from their hierarchies, the kidnapping of a German arms dealer puts them in direct conflict with each other.
  As they head each side of the investigation, they will uncover a corruption scandal lodged in the heart of contemporary Algeria - a nation on the brink of democratic change that will test our couple’s loyalty, both to their country and ultimately to each other.
