Synopsis
Renowned Israeli filmmaker Y travels to a remote village in the Arava Valley where a screening of his latest feature is scheduled at the local public library, followed by a Q&A. He is greeted by the Deputy Director of Israeli Libraries, a bright young woman who grew up in the region, and quickly throws himself into a desperate, bitter, relentless battle to save his country’s freedom of speech and free-falling democracy, even if that means sacrifices, in this intense, unforgettable, slow-burning cry of freedom.
