- In south China, sea nomads reside in floating villages, adrift on life’s tides.
  
  Lin Momo, an offbeat girl from afar, carries herself with the pride of a pirate woman, her injured eye covered by an eye patch. A-hi, a lonely and isolated boat dweller, has kept silent for years after an unexpected incident, as if immersed in the tranquility of the sea.
  
  Momo and A-hi’s paths cross. They navigate through a kelp forest, frolic in the shallow sea, and share personal stories in their secret sanctuary. Initially at odds, the two unique and vibrant souls form a deep bond, revealing the hidden layers of unsettling traumas.
  
  When a relentless storm hits, the wounded warriors revisit their grieving histories, healing and supporting each other. With the Oyster Lady’s deathbed confession and the sudden intrusion of a stranger from the past, Momo and A-hi find themselves at the center of another impending tempest. Will they run away or withstand the gale? A decision must be made.
