    • Synopsis
    • In her late 30s, Havva lives with her mother Nilüfer, her two daughters aged 17 and 11, namely Elif and Melek in the house inherited from her father. Had to assume the responsibility for her two daughters and paralyzed mother alone after leaving her husband, Havva is in conflict with her elder daughter Elif due to her affair with Serdar, who has an unhappy marriage, and Nilüfer tolerates her daughter's affair as she expects some benefits. However, when Havva lost her life due a traffic accident on the morning of the 3rd day of the 4-day Eid Al-Adha, both Nilüfer's and two sisters' lives goes into a completely different direction. İbrahim, whom Havva got divorced 10 years ago, comes to the funeral to take her children, whom he had not seen for years, after his former spouse's sudden death. The father and her daughters, who do not know how to approach each other even, start to prepare for the journey they are to take next morning. Two sisters are in an emotional chaos due to not only losing their mother, but also the obscurity of moving to a new place and newly felt presence of their father, whom they had not seen for years. However, during this journey, they have to communicate with İbrahim, whom they do not know at all, they blamed and even hated. Their communication brings along an argument, where the elder sister Elif put into words what she feels for her father. At the end, while the arguments between the father and his daughters lead to rediscussion of an ended relationship and mutual accusations, they brings along a touching story including everything about human such as hypocrite understanding of family, prejudices, feeling of guilt and conscience. Started on the 4th day of the Eid Al-Adha in İstanbul, this journey ends at midnight in a coastal town in Mediterranean, south of Anatolia, where İbrahim lives. Two sisters and father step into a life under the same shelter, even it is leaking. However, for İbrahim, it seems impossible to forget what happened and not to suffer anymore.
