    • Synopsis
    • Adoption, a decision that is intimate, emotional and legal whose feelings, emotional needs and fearful choices have been the reason for so many movies, are shown in all their plenitude in this risky and intense film by David Lipszyc. The story begins- even though it seems an incongruity- at the true beginning; that is to say, with the child in the orphanage, the sessions and meetings with the person( a single man) who wishes to fulfill this act of humanity and hope that is adoption; because he is overflowing with affection and has a vital need to share it. The development immediately moves forward as the aspects of the argument quickly begin to dis(cover) coherent situations and at the same time are unexpected, while the viewer feels he is a chief participant in the search, secrets, confessions, concerns, unfamiliar stories…And unfortunately because it forms part of our recent history, dramatic moments that our country lived through some thirty odd years ago, also enter into the story. It’s a necessarily difficult film, whose ending, for those who didn’t foresee all the nuances of a possible future for these characters, could be considered a happy one.
