- Synopsis
- 　27-year-old Kaei is heir to one of Japan’s wealthiest families, the Karasumas. Having graduated from college at 18, he possesses a razor sharp mind with an unparalleled talent for sensing color. When his father, the family patriarch, suddenly vanishes without a trace upon his retirement, Kaei is forced to cut short his studies abroad and return to Japan where he awakens to a surly new butler, Soma Kisarazuki, standing over him. Thrown together by order of his vanished father, Kaei, unfamiliar in his new role, and Kisarazuki, his smug and arrogant attendant, immediately clash. One day Kaei gets invited to a Mehinagawa family party where he meets a college-aged scion of a leading entrepreneurial family, setting in motion a series of extraordinary events that conspire to bring about the destruction of the Karasuma family. Forging a confrontational master-servant relationship, Kaei and his butler form a reluctant duo battling nefarious forces at play to protect the family.
