    • Synopsis
    • One summer in 1989, after a long political exile, Alfredo Zitarrosa dies in his home country. After his passing, hundreds of boxes with his memoires remain closed for 27 years in the family home. Today, his daughters and wife start the rescue process of these memoires marked by banishment and struggling between oblivion and destruction from the passing of time. "Absence of Me" addresses the drama of exile with A. Zitarrosa's unpublished memoires. Banishment as the impossibility of restoration, as an irreversible break in the context of a militarized world.
