- Synopsis
- Every year, well-known writer and journalist Paolo Rumiz goes on a trip around Italy and writes about it in a series of articles for the newspaper ‘La Repubblica’. For the first time his summer-time trips were filmed by director Alessandro Scillitani. Through the eye of the camera’s lens, and the narrating voice of Paolo Rumiz, the film explores a hidden side of Italy: abandoned places, forgotten roads, disused factories. An immersion into the extraordinary charm and poetry of lost places and their memories.
