    • Bow is an orphan from Thailand born with HIV and fetal alcohol syndrome which has caused her to live with major facial deformations. She is now a teenager and the children in school are beginning to bully her because of her face. The doctors in Thailand were hesitant to operate on her due to her HIV status. They felt that she was not worth it. She is eventually befriended by filmmaker Robert Corna who takes her on a journey to America to pursue her dream to be beautiful.
