    • Synopsis
    • “This voyage is first of all meant to be an entertaining, non-academic stroll through the cinema I have learned to love. I would like to describe all the things that touch me. And I will also do what I can to put to rest some clichés, platitudes and legends.
This film will be made up of excerpts, photos, and trailers, but also contemporary and other, more recent interviews, and interventions by technicians and/or historians. We will combine several approaches: my memories, my encounters, all the bits of information I have been able to collect, facts that often explain the angle taken by a film, the reasons behind some ambitions. And we will also attempt to show in a lively, concrete fashion why these films still speak to us, and why they still touch us today.” BERTRAND TAVERNIER
