    • Synopsis
    • A Glitch in the Matrix is Rodney Ascher’s newest documentary film venture. Exploring the idea of Simulation Theory, the metaphysical documentary showcases the stories of real people and moments in their lives when they must question if they are living in the real world, or a computer simulation.

Influenced by the late author Philip K. Dick, who offered up the idea of a computer-programmed reality which inspired such films as Blade Runner, Total Recall, and Minority Report, A Glitch in the Matrix’s aim is, much like Ascher’s previous work, to bring unique, shared experiences and ideas to life.
