    • Synopsis
    • After his death, Fernando Ruiz Vergara left dozens of documents, scripts and sketches for films that he was never able to make. The Andalusian filmmaker had only managed to direct one film, «Rocío», heartbreaking and fascinating, cursed for many after its judicial censorship in the early years of democracy in Spain. Since then, all his projects have remained forever in the imagination and desire. In «A film by Fernando Ruiz Vergara» we revisit some of his dream films to make them a reality, from the present, as a gesture of resistance.
