    • Synopsis
    • A Faraway Fire is an independent film that follows in the footsteps of Italian neorealism. Real scenarios, non actors, natural lighting and a bit of improvisation.
This story takes place on Christmas Eve, in the city of Rancagua. A woman leaves her car abandoned in the parking lot of Natacha y Germán and doesn’t return to look for it, creating a series of family conflicts that will end with a change of plans for the holidays.
A film full of mystery that mixes documentary with fiction, starring a hole family in a context full of extraordinary situations, such as a wave of fires in the city or a group of young men obsessed with feeding stray dogs.
