    • Synopsis
    • A Day of Trouble is a story about two cousins in Los Angeles, Terrance and Curtis, from rival gangs, both dealing with their own struggles, hanging out together one day. Terrance’s wife, walked out on him, leaving him financially unstable, causing him to have to move back in with his mother. Curtis is an unreformed ex-inmate, who only recently got out of jail after serving seven years in the state penitentiary.

While heading out to a job interview, Curtis asked Terrance to drive him to the bank. Unbeknownst to Terrance, Curtis goes into the bank, robs it, jumps back in the car, and tells Terrance to drive-off. Terrance, confused and scared, does whatever Curtis says.
While on the run, Curtis and Terrance come across a house to hide in. The house is being rented by Suzanne and Jennifer, who are friends and roommates.

Unfortunately, Suzanne and LaToya, Jennifer’s annoying younger sister, are in the house at the time, while Jennifer’s on a weekend trip to Santa Barbara with her football player boyfriend, Marc. Curtis and Terrance break in, and Curtis insist on taking Suzanne and LaToya as hostages.

Suzanne is a European blonde and former cheerleader who is now a full-time yoga instructor. She recently broke up with her boyfriend who had jilted her out of her life savings, and left drugs in her house. Heartbroken and broke, she was in the process of moving back to Switzerland.

LaToya is a college cheerleader who enjoys living a carefree student life, and who made it her life’s mission to get on Jennifer and Suzanne’s last nerve.
Curtis has the girls tied up. He decides they need to take off with the stolen money and leave no witness alive. But Terrance, never a willing accomplice through all of this, wants to leave the girls alive and get the hell out of the house before he becomes an accomplice to something much worse than robbing a bank.

Meanwhile, Jennifer keeps trying to call Suzanne and LaToya, but neither one of them is answering their phones. After relentless attempts to reach the two of them at no avail, Jennifer and Marc decide to cut their trip short and hurry back home to figure out what is going on. But, what will they find when they get there?
