    • Synopsis
    • It is Christmas time in a Swedish town in the 1940’s. Karl-Bertil Jonsson’s future is predestined by his father, who is the owner of a large department store. As he one day meets Vera, a poor girl in his age living with her little sister at an orphanage in the slum, he realizes that some people are less fortunate than his family... Inspired by Robin Hood, Karl-Bertil decides to “to steal from the rich and give to the poor”. At his job in the post office he puts aside Christmas packages from rich people and hides them away. On Christmas eve he ventures out, dressed as Santa Claus, and heads for the slums to give away Christmas presents to the poor.
