The film puts the legendary match into a new perspective. It was awarded several prices, both in Hungary and abroad. It is the first Hungarian film that has been played in German cinemas, using 40 copies, since WWII. In Hungary 185,000 people saw it in cinemas. The film was aired during Prime Time on RTL Klub (21-10-2001), and on Hungarian Television Channel 1 (06-04-2002), at 8 p.m., while Duna TV transmitted it in September, 2002. Filmmuseum has been continuously playing it. The film sold 9300 on video and 1500 went to videotheques. 16,000 soundtracks were sold.
