    • Synopsis
    • 3 STILL STANDING (90 min) USA. The film follows three stand-up comics as they struggle to survive through the downfall of comedy following the 80s boom when clubs quickly closed down, as they now seek new ways to reinvent their acts in an unfamiliar landscape of social media and online celebrity. Contemporaries and close colleagues of stars Robin Williams, Rob Schneider, Paula Poundstone and Dana Carvey, success seems to be just one great set away for Will Durst, Larry "Bubbles" Brown and Johnny Steele. But cut to the present day and the trio are adapting. A 30-year roller-coaster ride through comedy’s boom and bust, 3 Still Standing charts the careers of three funny men who, despite not finding success on the same scale as their famous friends, continue to live the dream and like blues musicians, only get better with age. Directed by Robert Campos & Donna LoCicero.
