  Gervais, a tenacious police officer in Paris, is the laughing stock of the station house: for years, he has been hunting Curtis, a wisecrack, burglar-king, who unfailingly escapes and makes a complete fool of Gervais. But one morning, after another failed chase, Gervais wakes up in a city devoid of all its inhabitants…
  Has everyone disappeared? Not quite. Surprisingly, the only other person left is none other than Curtis, speeding through the streets at the wheel of a Formula 1 racing car!
  Our two heroes are alone in Paris. What better opportunity to bury the hatchet? But that would be forgetting Gervais’s legendary integrity. For him, Curtis’s place is in prison and nothing will distract him from his mission.
