Inspired by the book 1989 by journalist María Elvira Samper, this documentary recalls a key moment in Colombia's history when terrorism, fear, anxiety and political instability sought to bring down the Colombian state. At the same time, it asks whether today, more than three decades later, a similar situation can be repeated. The thread of this story is the story of Alvaro Ortega, a soccer linesman who was murdered by drug traffickers in an attempt to control the professional soccer business, whose most important teams they owned.
