    • Synopsis
    • Thirteen-year-old Drasko spends the summer of 1970 in the countryside at his grandparents. Whenever he is around, grandparents switch to Hungarian. He cannot understand them. Worried, he secretly records them and plays it back to Erzika, a local hippy teenager, who's Hungarian.
While hanging with Erzika, Drasko slowly gets into the hippy culture, while falling in love with her. At the same time, she dreams about Zoran, the long-haired guitarist, and plans to join the upcoming anti-Vietnam protests in Belgrade during Nixon's visit to Yugoslavia.
Translating his grandparents' secretly taped conversations, Drasko and Erzika gradually figure out what is happening. His parents are planning to leave him there until they sort out their problematic marriage.
Devastated, Drasko runs away with Erzika to join the small group of hippies in Belgrade.
After the unsuccessful anti-Nixon protest, they end up at the open-air concert. Erzika is smitten by her crush Zoran - the guitarist. Drasko is heartbroken.
At the party, after the concert, Drasko, striving to prove himself in front of his love, smokes hashish, drinks a lot of wine, and gets sick. Scared party hostess doesn't allow the Ambulance to be called, so Zoran and Erzika have to load semi-conscious Drasko into the band's van. They drive him around, trying to locate his home. Drasko enjoys Erzika's attention.
At Drasko's home, the door opens a family friend – Moma. His parents are out searching for him.
Feeling awkward, Moma conveniently slips away, leaving Zoran and Erzika to care about Drasko.
After sobering him up, Zoran and Erzika stay with Drasko a while longer.
Drasko slowly discovers traces of mom's new life in the apartment. Family friend Moma apparently moved in, and they live together now.
Three of them hang out in the apartment alone, musing about the unfair adult world.
Finally, Erzika and Zoran have to leave.
While saying goodbyes to Erzika, Drasko experiences his first real kiss.
He returns to the empty apartment, in-love, happy, heartbroken. His new life is about to start.
