    • Synopsis
    • I can still remember that story… I was 11 years old then.
Having the chance to be selected to lead our daily gymnastic at school, I had to have a new white shirt. It was difficult to convince my mother but I manage to. But on my first day, while playing with my friends (Mandy Head, WEI Jun and Little Rat) I fall into the river. While waiting for my shirt to dry, I met with a wounded runaway man. Brother of one of my classmate, the man stole my new shirt to dress his wound. He promised to buy me a new one and I promise not to tell anyone about him.
My mother didn’t believe my lost, and accused my friends of stealing the new shirt. It took me some time to bring my friends to understand that I was not a traitor or a liar, but that I had a big secret: the wounded man.
We decided to bring him food in the woods.
His sister soon left school, and the local police was trying it’s best to catch him. People seem to think that he had killed a factory worker. What would happen to him if they did arrest him? If guilty he would certainly be executed. It is said that innocent don’t die with one bullet.
The police finally captured him, but only after Little Rat had given him up. While WEN Jun father was back from Guangzhou with the first ever radiotape, Little Rat family moved to Shanghai.
One day, the postman delivered a package for me. A white shirt. The wounded man had kept its promise. It turned out that he killed that man to take revenge from the rape of his little sister, my long time classmate, JUE Hong.
My father got me a new white shirt and I returned to my gymnastic leading.
Then one day an execution was announced. We all run to see it. There was my wounded man, wearing my white shirt with his blood stains. The soldier shot. A flower appeared on his shirt. He stood up. The soldier had to keep on… One shot, one flower…11 flowers are slowly covering the screen…
