Yan Cui, a writer/director/producer, studied film at Ryerson University, Director Residence in Canadian Film Centre. Her feature debut, CHINESE CHOCOLATE won the I.C.A.C. Award at Berlin Film Festival, Best Director at Palm Springs, and officially selected by more than 40 festivals worldwide. Her other award winning films are YELLOW WEDDING; LOVE, SIMPLY; I LOVE YOU DADDY, WHEN AFRICA MEETS YOU, PANDEMIC TRILOGY, and THE HERALD.
