Description
Xingyu Li, originally from Beijing, used to take pride in visiting the Great Wall until she discovered that her family heritage is that of nomad Mongolians, who were once a target of the wall's defense. Yu conducted her research on psychology and neuroscience at Stanford University, where she received her Ph.D. in 2021, and her work has been published in leading scientific journals like the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. She then created four short films.
