Description
Wesgro, the government agency that promotes the economy of Cape Town and the Western Cape, wants to help you uncover opportunities in the film and media sector. Utilizing its network of relationships with stakeholders along the film and media supply chain, the Wesgro Film and Media Promotion Unit help local and international film crews create world-class film, commercials, animation and gaming productions in the Western Cape.
Objective
As the regional body mandated to support local the foreign film and media industry Wesgro Film and Media hopes to: 1. To market the Western Cape Province and the City of Cape Town as a film friendly location. 2. To take meetings with foreign companies in order to introduce the SA national dti incentives and discuss the services available in WCP and SA. 3. To introduce WCP filmmakers with incentive driven projects to potential co-producers.
