Description

Producers Morten Kaufmann and Signe Leick Jensen established TOOLBOX FILM in Copenhagen in March 2011. Their credit lists include several of the most prominent films in Danish cinema in recent years. As producers they have been involved in Lars von Trier’s THE BOSS OF IT ALL, Thomas Vinterberg’s SUBMARINO and THE HUNT, Ole Christian Madsen’s SUPERCLASICO, FLAME & CITRON, ANGELS IN FAST MOTION, PRAGUE, KIRA’S REASON, Dagur Kari’s DARK HORSE and Bille August’s upcoming film MARIE KRØYER. In 2012 Signe Leick Jensen has been accepted in to the European Producers workshop EAVE, and was appointed Producer on the move in Cannes by EFP and The Danish Filminstitute. Thomas Vinterbergs THE HUNT produced by Morten Kaufmann was in Competition in Cannes 2012. We are a small, Copenhagen-based production company that wishes to maintain a size that makes it possible for the both of us to be hands-on and present in the films we produce.
