THE CHARLOTTE FILM SOCIETY / CHARLOTTE FILM FESTIVAL
Description
The Charlotte Film Society was created in 1982 in order to bring to the community foreign and independent films that were unable to screen otherwise. This has been our ongoing mission. In January, 2020 we took control of the Charlotte Film Festival which is celebrating its 15th year in September, 2022. In June 2022 we opened Charlotte's first ever nonprofit community arthouse cinema.
