Description
Ishkwaazhe Shane McSauby is an American filmmaker and enrolled member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A Sundance Institute fellow and NYU Tisch MFA graduate, his films have screened globally. Shane’s short film Happy Thanksgiving played at eight Academy-qualifying festivals, and his latest film, The Beguiling, premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and will have its US Premiere at the 2025 SXSW film festival.
