The ART Newspaper Russia FILM FESTIVAL is a festival of films about art organized by the main Russian art journal The Art Newspaper Russia and its publisher and owner Inna Bazhenova. The festival is held in Moscow.The first festival was held in September 2017 and featured new films - "Loving Vincent", "Gauguin", "Final Portrait", "Rodin", and "24 Frames" by Abbas Kiarostami. The ART Newspaper Russia FILM FESTIVAL organized the first screening of "The Square" by Ruben Ostlund prior to its official premiere (the Russian distributor - "A-One Films") - on September 5th the movie was showed at Garage museum of contemporary art.The festival’s special guest was Ahmad Kiarostami, Abbas Kiarostami’s son, who has worked in the filmmaking industry for over 20 years. He is the founder of the Docunight festival of Iranian documentaries and a member of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC).The ART Newspaper Russia FILM FESTIVAL 2018 is planned for September and will be held at Garage muse
