TALLINN BLACK NIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL
Description
Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF), the biggest and the only FIAPF A-category film festival in Northern Europe, holds its 27th edition in 2023. Together with Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, sub-festivals PÖFF Shorts and Just Film, we welcomed 2000+ film professionals and press during the last edition, alongside 70,000+ film watchers. We screened 183 feature-length films, 4 experimental films and 2 TV series in 2022.
Objective
Promoting author cinema, supporting film industry development and visibility of smaller countries, developing co-production in the Baltic Sea region, promoting series industry development with TV Beats, supporting green production practices, growing into a year-round hybrid cultural institution, developing film education in schools, improving training for up-and-coming film professionals
