Description
Karina Miller launched Sparkhouse in 2012 and has since been joined by CEO Talal AlAbbar, Kinez Riza (EVP Business Development) and Matt Morrow (SVP of Development and Production). Sparkhouse’s first film, The Big Ask, starring Melanie Lynskey, Jason Ritter and David Krumholtz premiered at the Seattle International Theatre Festival and was later picked up for distribution by Tribeca Films. In May of 2016, Sparkhouse produced To The Bone, written and directed by Marti Noxon and starring Lily Collins, Keanu Reeves, Carrie Preston and Lili Taylor. To The Bone was selected for competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival where it sold to Netflix in one of the highest sales of the festival. They recently wrapped principal production on Semper Fi - written and directed by Henry Alex Rubin and starring Jai Courtney, Nat Wolff, Finn Wittrock and Leighton Meester.
