Description
SOLITA FILMS is a Madrid based Spanish Academy award-winning production company that has been producing features and short films for more than ten years. Our first international coproduction EL DESPERTAR DE LAS HORMIGAS (Costa Rica/Spain; World Premiere at Berlinale Forum) became the first Central American film to receive a Premios Goya nomination for Best Iberoamerican Film. We have two feature films currently in postproduction: LA PECERA (Puerto Rico/Spain) and HIJA DEL VOLCAN (Spain/Mexico).
Objective
Our goal in Solita Films is to produce and co-produce high quality art house films intended for worldwide audience and we’re specifically interested in author driven genre films. Our three last films have been minority coproductions with Latinamerica. We are commited to be a priority option for Latin American productions.
