Description

Shwetal A. Patel is an interdisciplinary researcher and visual arts specialist, making his directorial debut with a feature-length documentary on the life and work of the late psychoanalyst and writer Sudhir Kakar. As a first-time filmmaker, Shwetal brings a deeply research-driven and artistically rigorous perspective to nonfiction storytelling. A founding member of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale—South Asia’s largest contemporary art event—Shwetal has been instrumental in shaping the art in India.
