Founded in 1985, one pionner in HV, launching BALLAD OF NARAYAMA (Palm D'Or 1983). 1989 start TV Distributions with well succeed Japanese Super Heros and doing LICENSING. In 1991, change name to SATO COMPANY and start theatrical Distribution with AKIRA, first ANIME in theatrical in Brazil. Launched JOHN WOO movies ( BULLET IN THE HEAD, BETTER TOMORROW and others). 2011 - 1st NETFLIX aggregator in Brazil and Latam. 2023/24 - GODZILLA MINUS ONE and THE BOY AND THE HERON, SATO CINEMA are open.
