Description
Sanktuary Films crafts intimate human stories, especially social impact narratives. Their debut feature documentary, “I Am Here”, won Best South African Documentary at the Durban International Film Festival, which made the film eligible for Oscar consideration. The film has won multiple international Audience Choice, Best Director awards and 3 sought-after SA Film and Television Awards. They continue to create resonant films with 2 completed shorts and a slate of features in development.
Objective
We have riveting narrative features and documentaries in development that we are looking for co-producers and partners on. Our award-winning documentary "I am Here" is about a vibrant 98-year-old Holocaust survivor with a special zest for life. The film combines animated memories with her life lessons in the present. We are seeking distribution outside of the USA, Australia, Italy, Portugal and South Africa.
