Non-specialized competitive film festival. As well as screening films for an audience of spectators, specialized media and film industry professionals, SSIFF promotes developing projects and WIP. San Sebastian wishes to highlight as a place to meet, encourage discussion and generate business opportunities. San Sebastian's hallmarks are its character as an audience festival, the bond between European and Latin American filmmaking, its support for new talents and its activity throughout the year.
