Description
Runga Arte Experimental is a space where art explores human identity through film and performing arts. Yawar Shunku, our debut documentary, addresses the silence and stigma surrounding AIDS through the memory of Elena, who passed away in 2013. Selected by the Sundance Institute’s Documentary Development Fund, it has participated in residencies such as Walden and is currently seeking funding for production.
Objective
Yawar Shunku is seeking co-producers in France and the United Kingdom for filming in 2025, as well as post-production spaces, including Work in Progress and Rough Cut, starting in mid-2025 to complete the film in 2026. At Ventana Sur, we aim to build international partnerships, secure distribution and sales agreements, and increase the global visibility of the project, while establishing a sustainable network to ensure its completion and reach.
