France’s leading local authority for financing the film and television industry, Région Ile-de-France gives subsidies to a wide array of professionals, aiming to ensure the diversity of creation and strengthen the industry:- Support Fund for cinema and television technical industries: selective grants for French and international productions using Ile-de-France’s technical industries to a great extent, in compliance with specific conditions.- Support fund for final works for release of short and feature films : selective subsidies for post-production of print and digital films.- Support to theatres : subsidies for renovation and digital equipment of independent cinemas.- Cinema education : about 40 000 high school students and apprentices and 2 000 teachers from our Region attend cinema lessons. 5 selected movies are shown on screens in theatres, and studied at school.- Support to festivals : subsidies for film festivals and film events.- Shooting locations services : carri
