Description
In 2016, Rebecca Chuaunsu founded Rebecca Chuaunsu Film Production (RFCP). Presently, her casting agency supplies talents for television and film projects in the Philippines. Also in 2016, she directed and produced, “Legacy,” a short film on the life of a Chinese Kawka dancer in the Beijing Opera. It was her recital project Cannes award winning director Brilliante Mendoza’s Directing Workshop,. Rebecca’s production of “Binondo: A Tsinoy Musical” won Best Original Musical Production at the Aliw Awards three consecutive years - 2018, 2019 and 2020. The prestigious Aliw Awards, founded by the National Press Club to recognize achievements in the Philippine live entertainment industry, then elevated her to its Hall of Fame as Best Producer in 2020 Rebecca established Project Dream Publishing in year 2020 that publishes basic and advanced Mandarin books. “Her Locket” is the first full length feature film produced by Rebecca Chuaunsu Film Production. She also stars as the elder Jewel in the film.
