QCINEMA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Description

QCinema International Film Festival is an annual event organized by the Office of the Vice Mayor of Quezon City (Philippines). Established in 2012, QCIFF produces 8 feature films every year as part of its main section, the Circle Competition. It's other major sections are: Screen International (recent award-winning films from around the world); Asian Next Wave (competition for new Asian directors); RainbowQC (international competition for LGBT films); and RainbowQC (short film competition from QCinema's selected finalists. The current festival director is Ed Lejano.

Objective

To program promote QCinema as one of the top film events in Southeast Asia; To program new titles for exhibition section, Screen International; To program new titles for our competition sections: Asian Next Wave (for new Asian directors) and RainbowQC (for international LGBT features);
