Prisma Film has produced, in addition to other films, the Oscar-nominated REVANCHE by Götz Spielmann, political thriller AM ENDE DES TAGES by Peter Payer, the bestseller adaptation HERRN KUKAS EMPFEHLUNGEN by Dariusz Gajewski (based on the novel of the same name by Radek Knapp), the documentary DIE TUNISREISE (in which director Bruno Moll follows the trail of Paul Klee and his painter friends on their journey to Tunisia) and GRENZGÄNGER, a love story by Florian Flicker. At present two documentary films are in production: ALPHABET (working title) by Erwin Wagenhofer explores the theory that an education system based solely on performance and pressure to perform rather than curiosity and enthusiasm is not appropriate for modern society; and DER BLICK IN DEN ABGRUND (working title) by Barbara Eder examines the lives of criminal profilers, individuals who, day in and day out, deal with the most horrible crimes that humans are capable of and constantly face the question of evil’s origin.
