Description

Parallelo 41 produzioni, founded in Napoli in 2002, promotes young talents and develops independent contents. Over 30 films have been produced and taken part in major festivals as Venice, Locarno, Rotterdam, Torino, Thessaloniki and Festival dei Popoli, whose awards include Nomination David Donatello, Nastri d’Argento - Best Docufilm, Cinéma du Réel, Pravo Ljudski - Sarajevo, DocLisboa, Fronteira IFF, Salina DocFest , Jean Rouch IIF- Grand Prix, Visioni Italiane, Dok Leipzig, Filmmaker.

Objective

We feel we are in the right place and at the right time to make a more powerful transition to the international world of coproductions. Our independent films, although often centred on Naples, have had incredible runs in the biggest international festivals. In these moment we have more than one coproduction in place (also with the two fictions we are developing with a French and a Romanian company), so we want to fortify this transition to international involvement and collaborations.
