Description
Osaka Sunset Pictures is a Canadian production company founded by producer/director Jason Lapeyre. Lapeyre wrote and directed the award-winning I DECLARE WAR in 2012, which premiered at TIFF and won the Audience Award at Fantastic Fest. He won a Canadian Screen Award in 2017 for producing THE LOCKPICKER, which won the John Dunning award for best first feature. Most recently he produced and directed THE TEXAS CHEERLEADER MURDER PLOT, which will air on Discovery+ in Q1 2024.
Objective
OSP has two feature projects on its slate: STEALING IS BAD, starring Nick Stahl and Kevin Pollak; and THE FIVE FATHERS, a contained horror feature written by SLASH/BACK's Ryan Cavan.
